The 10th European Slag Conference<\/strong>, is going to take place in Thessaloniki, Greece<\/strong>,
\nfrom 9th \u2013 11th October 2019<\/strong> with a reception at the 8th<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Conference is jointly organized by the Laboratory of Building Materials of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, EUROSLAG and AEIFOROS<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The title of the Conference is:
\nSlag based products \u2013 best practices for Circular Economy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe purpose of the 10th European Slag Conference is to share updated knowledge, ideas and research related to technical applications, environmental and legal aspects for all kinds of iron and steel slag. The Conference aims at bringing together all persons involved in processing, using and marketing slag from private companies, public authorities, research institutes, universities, technical schools or environment safety organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The topics of interest include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n

1. Legal framework (developments in legislation, rules and standards in Europe and\u00a0 other regions of the world)<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Utilization and best practices (sourcing and logistics, best practices for timely and effectively recycling and resource efficiency)<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Research and innovation (characteristics of slag and slag based products,\u00a0 updated studies, research and demonstration projects, new techniques)<\/span><\/p>\n
