Mr. Alexandros Katsiamboulas, Chemical Engineer, NTUA with postgraduate MSc in Environmental Technologies at UK UMIST and with Business Administration Studies at ALBA, is currently the Environment, Quality & Sustainable Development Senior Manager, at TITAN CEMENT, Greek Cement Industry SA.
With 21 years of experience in the cement industry, he has assumed responsibilities in the fields of environment, health & safety, production and quality, both at the plants and at the headquarters of TITAN CEMENT.
He represents TITAN CEMENT in national, european and international organizations such as the Hellenic Cement Industries Association, SEV-Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, SEV- Business Council for Sustainable Development, CEMBUREAU, WBCSD \ CSI and ERT.
He has served as Vice-President of HSWMA (Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association) for 2 terms (since 2015) and since March 2018 he is the elected President of the Management Board of HSWMA.

Today he is a Consultant Engineer in International and National SWM Projects and Energy Efficiency and he holds accreditation in Chemical Engineering and Energy Studies inside EPTA SA Engineering and Consulting Firm.
He has extensive experience 12-15 yrs in Administration of Project Teams in the private sector and Social Institutions. He was General Manager of a Multinational Company and President / Vice President of Hellenic Association of Chem.Engineers and Technical Chamber of Greece respectively.
He graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 1976 and obtained his Ph.D in 1983. He became Teaching Assistant in 1979 and then promoted to Lecturer (1985), Assistant Professor (1988), Associate Professor (1992) and Professor (1996) at the same School
He has been Vice-Rector and Rector of the University, as well as Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA where he became adjunct Professor in 1994. Treasurer and Secretary General of the Hellenic Polymer Society, Chairman of the Greek Association of Chemical Engineers, Vice-Chairman of the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, member of the General Assembly of the Technical Chamber of Greece and Chairman of the ETAT S.A.. Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change (2010-2011). He has been Chairman of the Board of HSWMA (2012-17) and currently he is the President of the Hellenic Polytechnic Association.
His research activities are focused on the topics of materials processing and more specifically, on the recycling and solid waste management, including both urban and industrial waste. He has published more than 200 publications including books, monographs, papers in international scientific journals and conference presentations and lectures.
He has Diploma on Chemistry (University of Patras Greece, 1984) and DEA in Environmental Management (Paris XII, 1985).
Since 1988 he is professionally active as consultant in environmental, industrial and sustainable development issues.
During the period 1997 – 2013 he worked for the Greece based environmental engineering consulting company EPEM, participating in projects covering the fields of waste management, environmental management in the industrial sector, environmental impact assessment, air pollution abatement, climate change mitigation and water environment protection in several countries (e.g. Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia).
During the period 2012 – 2019 he was senior advisor at ETVA Industrial & Business Parks S.A. covering matters as Industrial Parks’ operation and management, Environmental Compliance and Development of new Industrial and Business Parks.
Since May 2019, he is consultant in companies of VIOHALCO on Industrial Parks and waste management issues. Since June 2019 he is General Director of the Federation of Industries of Continental Greece (SVSE) and since September 2019 Vice President of the Inofita Asopos Industrial Park Development Company (EANEP of Inofita) and Member of the Management Board of Thisvi Viotia Industrial Park Management Company (DIAVIPETHIV).

Since 11/2015 he is Member of the Management Board of the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (HSWMA, member of ISWA) and since 03/2018 Deputy Vice President for Industrial Symbiosis issues.
He is secretary of the Board of Directors of the Association of Waste Recycling end Energy Recovery Industries and Business (SEPAN), member of EUROMETREC, EuRIC, and EFR.
He was Treasurer in the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Industrial and Business Parks (2017 – 2018).
The period from 12/2005 to 12/2013 he was member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Engineering Consulting Companies (SEGM), member of FIDIC and EFCA. He was Secretary General from 12/2007 to 12/2011 and President from 12/2011 to 12/2013.
He has been member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Centre for the Environment and Sustainable Development (2001 – 2004) and of the Hellenic Recycling Organization (2010 – 2012).
Antonis Papadakis was born in Athens. He is a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the direction of Energy Electrical Engineer. Since 2007 he is a stakeholder and General Manager of the Greek company ARVIS SOLAR Ltd, which is active in the study and construction of electricity generation projects from renewable sources.He is active in the field of environmental protection since 1994, collaborating with construction and research firms, as a research associate and mainly as project manager for complex industrial projects of environmental protection, such as sewage treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, municipal waste treatment plants, etc.
He is an elected member of the Management Board and General Secretary of the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (HSWMA), Vice President of the Greek Association of Environmental Protection Companies (PASEPPE), National Coordinator of the European Business Awards for the Environment – EBAE) of the European Commission Directorate-General for Environment and member of the Scientific Working Group of the Waste to Energy Research Council (“SYNERGIA”), Greek branch of the Global Waste to Energy Research and Technology Council of Earth Engineering Center- Columbia University (WTERT).

She has extensive experience 45 yrs Administrative in senior positions in the private and public sector 45 years as a senior executive. She served as Head of the Technical Department of the Prefecture of Magnisia, 1973-1975, Head of the Prefecture of Magnisia Prefecture Planning Department 1975 – 1982, Head of the Technical Service of Municipalities & Communities of Piraeus County 1982 – 1993, Member of the Board of Directors and Project Manager of ENVIROPLAN. 1994 – today.

Member of the Environmental Committee of the Hellenic Cement Industries Association and Member of the Management Board of HSWMA since March 2018.

Today he is the President and the Managing Director of VM&A S.A.
He has extensive experience in the environmental sector and in specific in waste and waste water management. He is able to plan, implement, and coordinate comprehensive waste and waste water management systems. He is specialized as technical expertise in providing in-depth advice on Public Private Partnerships (PPP)/Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects with an emphasis to environmental projects in waste and waste water management. During his career, he played a key role, while holding various governmental positions, in minimising the impact of waste and protecting the environment.
